Coway`s (CEO Joon-Kee Hong, www.coway.com) new product, Coway bidet (BA-14A model) earned TR (Technology & Reliability) labeling certificate on the 29 th. Coway bidet was the first in the category to receive such recognition by Korea Testing & Research Institute.

Deliberation council of KTR, made up of its researchers, academics and representatives of relevant institutions, scores quality improvements based on its safety and quality assessment criteria, and products that qualify earns TR label.

Coway`s technology that sterilizes chamber pot met the required TR standard and Coway bidet (BA-14A) released on the 12 th earned the certificate. Its nozzle sterilization function added another certificate to its list, the `S mark.` The product takes advantage of electrolytic method and device for sterilizing water to remove 99.9% of germs (Korea Institute of Construction Materials, KTR test results) on nozzle and chamber pot within 30 seconds.

As bidet is attached to a toilet, hotbed of germs, hygiene must be the foremost criteria for selecting the right bidet. Sterilization and safety certificate from the official certification institution put Coway in an advanced position to prove its leading technology.
