| Coway’s Environment Technology Institute was established in 1993, and 102 engineers in the development division and 34 engineers in the research division are giving all-out efforts to develop new and better products including water filtration devices, air purifiers, and ionizers. Other than the development of new products, the Environmental Technology Institute develops the filtration system and materials, the air purification system, water purification process, along with technology survey and outsourcing. |

| The Environmental Technology Institute was designated as the research institute attached to a company by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 1994 for the first time in the industry. The Environment Technology Institute is continuously making efforts to develop new technology. |
